COVID-19 School Information
If you have a Senior Banner that was made throughout the 2019-2020 school year for any of the Sports, Band and/or ROTC, we are making a central location time and date for them to be picked up. Due to COVID-19 guidelines, you will be able to pick these up from Mandy Barnes at the First Financial Bank of Harrisburg during certain times. The date for pickup will be Wednesday, May 6th between 9:00 AM and 10:00 AM AND between 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM..... You will not be allowed to go into the bank due to COVID-19 guidelines. You will call the bank at 870-578-2472 and ask for Mandy when you are on your way to the bank and tell her your name and she will get your Senior Banner and bring it out to you.

TO: Students and Families of the Class of 2020
Harrisburg School District will be partnering with Herff-Jones to produce a virtual graduation for the Senior Class of 2020. If state/national guidelines on COVID-19 are lifted regarding large gatherings or other social distancing guidelines, as specified by authorities, we will also have a more traditional graduation ceremony this summer. We feel like we have waited as long as we can in hopes guidelines would change. Under the current circumstances this is our best option to ensure the safety and well-being of our students, their families, and faculty. Please know this decision was not made lightly or without lots of consideration for our seniors and their families. New guidance from the Department of Education has confirmed this to be our best option.
Harrisburg School District plans to honor our senior class with this live streamed production, so memories can be saved and shared with family and friends for years to come. Even though we may not be able to celebrate our seniors in the traditional way, in no way does it minimize the pride and confidence we have in this group. Recent events have shown this group and the Harrisburg Schools community to be resilient and prepared to take on any challenge that comes our way.
Seniors will be contacted in the near future with directions on how information will be collected. An exact date for the production will be released as soon as we have confirmation. Thank you all for your understanding, especially the Class of 2020.
