Blackboard Connect Calling System

Harrisburg School District uses a calling mass calling system called Blackboard Connect to communicate with district patrons. The calling system allows the district and each school building to place calls to parents, guardians, and staff in quick and effective manner.
For parents or guardians to receive a General Notification call, the parent must provide the office in which their child is attending school a contact phone number. The building will then designate this number as the "Alert" number. The alert number will be the phone number the system will dial to send out calls. Parents may also provide the building a email address and cell phone number if you desire to receive not only a phone call but additionally a email and and a text message.
In addition, the system will also post a message to the district Facebook page.
